Google Tools for Project-Based Learning – Starting the High School Digital Journey

In this workshop, we will explore some of the topics and tools which we use to start our students on their high school digital journeys. Our Global Studies course is a combination of Technology, and Arts & Culture learning areas, but blends in digital citizenship, thinking and learning strategies, IT tools (particularly Google tools), research, etc. The course aims to lay the foundations for life-long academic success by building cross-curricular skills. Participants will get to use the various tools, as well as critically examine the reasons for choosing the topics which we cover, and the project-based approach which we use.

This workshop will be co-presented by Mbali Ncanana and Peter de Lisle.
