Bio

Taylor received her Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Computer Science and began teaching in Miami, FL out of college.  Starting as a math teacher, she soon realized her passion for STEM and teaching in low-income communities could be combined further and began to teach Engineering and Computer Science courses.  Taylor then received her Master’s in Education & Social Change and is currently working on a Master’s in Computer Science. Over the past 7 years, her drive to bring technology education to underprivileged students has fueled her classroom.  Taylor’s students have competed in various STEM and robotics competitions, surpassed expectations of success imposed by society, and advocated for bringing STEM education to other students.
