Chris Mizell

Bio

Christopher is a Humanities teacher at Town School for Boys in San Francisco, California. After a fellowship at Rye Country Day School, a M.A in English Education at Teachers College of Columbia, and 3 years at George Jackson Academy in NYC, Christopher made his way west to San Francisco. He has a deep interest in engaging students, and helping them to see the connections between their learning and their own lives. In the classroom, Chris is most often engaged in Inquiry, Arts, and Project-Based Learning, as well as elements of Gamification.

We will be orienting ourselves to some basic but important internet resources such as Gmail, Facebook and Google Search. In the style of the learner-centered classroom, you will be working independently using these internet resources to complete a scavenger hunt.
